Private Guardian Ad Litem

A private guardian ad litem is appointed by the Court to consider a child’s needs when their parents are separating or divorcing or when they have been removed from a living condition that is a danger to their physical or emotional well-being.
It takes a special skill set and level of experience to effectively represent children, the most vulnerable of those in the court system. Diana Telfer is uniquely qualified to serve in the role of Guardian Ad Litem as she served in the Attorney, Office of the Guardian ad Litem, Third District Court.
